Four weeks before running my first marathon (London) I picked up an injury and could barely walk, let alone run – after five days of rest with no improvement I was beginning to panic. Stephen saw me at short notice (on a Bank Holiday), identified the problem (a tear in a tendon) and started to treat it immediately. Every step of the way he predicted how the injury would respond and he was spot on – every time – giving me complete confidence in him. With Stephen’s expert help – and encouragement – I was able to run again with just 2 days to go. On the big day, I ran pain free the whole way and loved every minute of it. Next time I train for a marathon I’ll go and see Stephen first!
