Our performance coaches will offer you insight into what it takes to become a high-performance athlete. They will use their skills and experience to help you get the right attitude towards your game and how you can get into the right mental state to help you perform at your best.
Do I need performance coaching?
So many athletes train extremely hard every day, keep up with their fitness levels and put in hours of study in order to master their game. However, not everyone goes on to become a champion. If you want to go that extra distance and be separated from the rest of the pack, then performance coaching may be for you. Our coaches will find out what has been stopping you performing at the level you should be and help get your mind into shape so nothing will stop you achieving your best.
No matter what level you currently are within your sport, and no matter what level you wish to aspire to, your mind is the most powerful tool you have to get you to where you want to be and so we will help you use it.
How can I improve my performance?
Our coaches are here to help you achieve the very best you can. So, after your consultation and performance coaching sessions, we will not just send you away to go back to your usual routine. This will only lead to you falling back into old habits. Our coaches will provide you with exercises and tips to maintaining the right mental attitude to help you succeed.
Sometimes this may also mean that you are required to change your training regime too in order to complement what is done in the sessions. Also, there may be training exercises to practise the way you think whilst training too.
How do I book a performance coaching session?
It’s simple; call us or fill in our contact form and your assigned athlete services manager will arrange an appointment for you. Even if you are not a member you can still contact us and reception will help book an appointment for you.
Since being an athlete means you need speedy responses and no clashes with training, PB Athlete Services arranges appointments to fit around your lifestyle – and as quickly as possible. If you require regular treatment, we’ll set up flexible or fixed times according to your needs.
If you are an athlete services team member you can receive significant discount on the costs of your X-rays as well as other diagnostic testing. If you book your appointment through your athlete services manager they will advise you on what your membership entitles you to. Please remember to state your name and your Athlete number when you arrange this.
